the photographer; maegan hudson, "mae". twenty year old photography student at SCCC in Riverhead, New York. redhead, cat lover, vegetarian.
the photographs; unless stated, all photographs are taken with the Nikon D70s and stock 18-70mm lens. Unfortunately I have been unable to purchase any fancy lighting equipment, new lenses, filters, or anything of that nature. The one accessory I do posess is the SB-600 Speedlight accompanied by a simple five dollar diffusor. Any studio shots were taken at my college. My preference has always been to shoot natural light, and I try only to add light to a situation when absolutely necessary.
I have been photographing since I was sixteen when I purchased my first Canon Powershot Pro 1. A year later when the camera broke I traded it in for the Canon Digital Rebel EOS, which I sold after a year to purchase my Nikon D70s. This camera has been a staple in my every day life since the day that I purchased it, and I wouldn't trade it in or give it up for anything. I am still learning about photography & about my camera & the likes of which I can use it. Every day is an experiement and every shoot is a new experience.
